    Business Plan: Sue the Competition, Deliver an Inferior Product

    I never used Scrabulous, so I can’t speak as to whether it worked well. However, I am a big Scrabble fan. I heard the news that Scrabulous got shut down and decided to try the new “official” version of Scrabble, currently in beta. The game itself is fine, but they apparently didn’t anticipate how many people like Scrabble on Facebook. My game with a friend got interrupted mid-play with the following screen:

    If you’re going to sue your free, beloved, and widely used competitor, you had better be able to provide at least a comparable service. Lame.
