WoW Expansion Information
By Cameron Sorden | August 3, 2007
Courtesy of Amber, more alleged expansion details have been uncovered.
Again, this stuff sounds pretty plausible to me, and it’s not the direction I would have preferred that they take WoW. But it’s too early to say anything for certain, it’s still possible this information is a hoax (and quite probably incomplete if not a hoax), and with Blizzcon going on tomorrow there will almost certainly be some real information, so I’m withholding any further theory-crafting or expansion commentary until we get some real meat to chew on.
In other news, don’t expect any posts from me for the next week. I’ll be in New York City on vacation with the girlfriend and her family. I’m looking forward to doing neat things like reading in central park, seeing some broadway shows, and visiting a museum or three. I hope nothing too momentous happens while I’m away…

Sadly work commitments have taken me away from the game. When I log in during the rare moments I can play, feel completely disconnected.
I will probably stop playing both my shammy and my shadow priest because it simply isn’t fun anymore.

I’m waiting for the official stuff before I’ll go to town on the WoW expansion.
Have fun in the Big Apple…

It’s official. And also official, is my disappointment. I guess I was hoping for more than 10 new levels and more raids. The siege weapons and whatnot sound cool, but the PvP in WoW will soon be eclipsed by the RvR in WAR.

WoW still has two or three expansions in it after this one.
But…
This one will be the last one in which they can afford not to take risks.
